There was an open selection process for the IYSS locality reps. The advert was circulated to all C&YP's network members asking for expressions of interest. It would be useful to have a second rep in each of the localities.

IYSS Area Provider Forums: could benefit from a V update from Sara for each of the localities regarding youth volunteering. IYSS area provider forums to put in place action plans at the next meeting so that progress can be fed back to communities providers and area forums.Next batch of meetings in January prior to the area forums and the next IYSS meeting.
Targeted Youth Support (TYS), Positive Activities for Young People (PAYP) and Positive Activities are the key themes for the Integrated Youth Support steering Group will reduce frequency of meetings to once every three months, so that the group can focus down on TYS and PAYP and Positive Activities.
Youth Offer is there any benefit in creating a menu of aspirational activities for young people in Calderdale as part of the Youth Offer? How can young people feed into the menu of activites?
Positive Activities: Publicity area wide prospectus could include all positive activities on offer across Calderdale and across all providers linking up provison? Ie: Community services, Sport unlimited, Voluntary and Community Sector, Summer University, July Project, PAYP and any others that are currently being rolled out across the borough. Sub group of the IYSS to look at how positive Activities is delivered, pooled and publicised in Calderdale.
LSC bid for NEET is still not agreed Kirklees are still in discussion with LSC, no date as yet.
